Ricotta Ravioli with Caviar

While caviar and pasta is a classic pairing, we’ve taken it to the next level with this rich ricotta ravioli dish. Sliced red onions and mushrooms serve as the base in a cast iron pan for the ricotta ravioli. They bring out the savory flavors of the ravioli with a touch of umami. The warm ricotta is a lovely creamy base to pair with the gush of caviar, which can be placed on top of the ravioli before serving. The warm ricotta, rich base, and tender pasta will be brought to life with a pop of flavor from your favorite caviar.

An Entirely Different Dessert

No dinner party would be complete without dessert. While traditional French favorites such as Classic Macaroons, Petrossian Financiers, or “the caviar of chocolates” known as our Vodka Chocolate Pearls are always welcome, if creativity is the theme of the gathering, then dessert should be no different! Alongside the traditional favorites, try a unique caviar dessert, caviar ice cream. The creamy flavor and cold rush of the ice cream pairs surprisingly well with the buttery brine of caviar, leaving your tastebuds (and guests!) wanting more.

If you’re going to combine vanilla ice cream and caviar, though, we recommend a very robust caviar. Choose Tsar Imperial Alverta Caviar along with the least sweet ice cream you can find and an extra healthy dollop of caviar. Be sure to place the bite caviar-first, so as to experience the pop before the ice cream overwhelms the bite. You can leave out the olive oil, caviar is oily enough as it is!
